Having trouble with Basic Sky? Start with these quick steps:

  1. Ensure Location Services are enabled for Basic Sky:
    iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Basic Sky → Allow While Using
  2. Check your device's date, time, and timezone are set correctly.
  3. Force-quit and relaunch the app.
  4. Restart your device.

Common Issues

No location or times shown
  • Verify Location Services are allowed While Using the App.
  • If you recently changed location permissions, relaunch the app.
  • Move outdoors or closer to a window to improve GPS accuracy.
Incorrect sunrise/sunset
  • Confirm the device time and timezone are automatic.
  • Make sure your device location matches your current position.
Launch screen stays visible too long
  • Force-quit and relaunch. If the issue persists after a restart, contact support.
