Having trouble with Basic Sky? Start with these quick steps:
- Ensure Location Services are enabled for Basic Sky:
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Basic Sky → Allow While Using - Check your device's date, time, and timezone are set correctly.
- Force-quit and relaunch the app.
- Restart your device.
Common Issues
No location or times shown
- Verify Location Services are allowed While Using the App.
- If you recently changed location permissions, relaunch the app.
- Move outdoors or closer to a window to improve GPS accuracy.
Incorrect sunrise/sunset
- Confirm the device time and timezone are automatic.
- Make sure your device location matches your current position.
Launch screen stays visible too long
- Force-quit and relaunch. If the issue persists after a restart, contact support.
